Required Experience: 1+ years of customer service

Role Description: The HR Service Professional is the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR within the People Resource Center (PRC). This role combines customer service with HR knowledge to respond to questions via phone, chat, web portal, or email, educating employees on self-service tools and resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries
  • Educate employees on self-service tools and resources
  • Identify and address employee needs, escalating complex issues as necessary
  • Document and classify contacts for case reporting
  • Demonstrate compassion and sound judgment
  • Utilize active listening, troubleshooting, and critical thinking to solve problems
  • Recommend changes to improve employee self-service and understanding
  • Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive data

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience with case management/CRM software
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Previous HR service/contact center experience supporting HR, payroll, and/or benefits
