Job DescriptionJob Description

Technical Support Specialist 
o    ONSITE in Torrance, CA 90501
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour W2
Duration: 3+ month assignment to start (temp to perm potential after 90 days)
Schedule: M-F, 40 hours per week 
o    Troubleshoot user problems at the desktop. 
o    Independently resolves hardware break-fix issues, network connectivity and application related questions for third party products. 
o    Escalates or perform server functions, particularly related to resolving issues at the desktop as well as TCP/IP connectivity and IP set-ups. 
o    Coordinates with the appropriate subject matter experts to obtain assistance to resolve concerns for proprietary applications of the client. 
o    Assist Project Managers in the end to end process for destination moves and hardware/software upgrades. Includes client interviews, technology evaluations and recommendations, developing integration requirements, application configuration/distribution, UAT, on site resource management, technical training and Day One support. 

Qualifications/preferred:
o    3 years of technical support / desktop support
o    Knowledge of PC hardware, software and networking issues
o    Able to work onsite
