JOB SUMMARY: The Qualty Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of product quality, quality logs, calibration logs, and ISO9001:2015 implementation and auditing.
INTERACTION WITH: All Departments
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.\tMaintain data bases, records and logs in accordance with ISO standards
2.\tAssist with incoming inspections of raw material, purchased parts and new part approvals
3.\tPerform technical analyses to eliminate variation in our processes
4.\tPerform execution of 1st Piece and 1st Article inspections
5.\tPerform In-Process random inspections
6.\tPerform process capability studies
7.\tVerify proper calibration and operation of all measuring equipment and meters and maintains calibration logs
8.\tPerforms Data Collection, SPC, PFMEA, Inspection Plans, Flow Plans, and PPAP
9.\tManages and resolves issues related to nonconforming product
10.\tResponds to and performs root cause analysis and corrective action for all quality complaints or concerns
11.\tTrainer for ISO9001:2015 and product quality requirements
12.\tWorks with management in preparation of Management Review
13.\tInspect and repack damaged product from Finish Goods area
14.\tMove repacked and reworked product to Finish Goods area
15.\tHelp with 100% inspection of suspect product
16.\tPerform product audits on floor and finished goods areas
17.\tIdentify opportunities for quality improvements
18.\tResponsible for planning, organizing, and reporting results of internal audits to management
19.\tReceive and Process RMA Product in Epicor
20.\tSupply information about RMA’s to customer service and finance departments about returned RMA’s Update inventory status and cycling of materials (Q.C. Hold, RTV, Rework, etc.)
21.\tOther functions as required and assigned by supervisor
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.\t3-5 years experience or equivalent work experience in the inspection and/or quality profession
2.\tGood understanding of inspection methods and techniques and understanding and implementation of receiving goods sampling, auditing techniques
3.\tAble to read and understand blueprints
4.\tDetailed understand of an MRP system (Epicor knowledge preferred).
5.\tComputer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
6.\tGood oral and written communication skills.
