We are seeking a CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR for a full-time position located in our Dallas, Texas office.

As part of the Project Management Team (PMT), provide administrative support to construction managers, design managers and project managers during design and construction for projects, with an emphasis on Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build activities. Perform administrative processes including processing of design submittals, construction submittals, technical queries, Requests for Information (RFIs), work inspection requests and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

 

·        Experience working in a Construction Management environment and is familiar with non-conformance reporting.

 

·        Support Project Execution for realistic schedule, budget/cost, in particular for the pre-construction and construction phases.

 

·        Monitor Contractor performance for adherence with the Project requirements defined within the Contract Documents.

 

·        Confirm actions and follow up with NCR's, non-conformance reports and effectively document actions taken.

 

·        Evaluate Project progress on regular basis. Implement actions to address Project issues and risk in scope, cost, or schedule. Identify opportunities to improve.

 

·        Assist in Project change management; review "Construction" Change Orders for scope, cost, schedule impact.

 

·        Document and archive project information in appropriate shared directories.

 

·        Participate with PMT to develop a risk register, assess, and implement a risk management strategy for the Project.

 

·        Collaborate with the PMT to achieve the Project goals with appropriate strategy.

 

·        Lead internal and external CM resources. Work with Code and Quality Insurance inspectors to achieve project success.
