Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties would include providing support to our office staff, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and Office Equipment.

Job Type: Full Time (5 Days a week, Weekends Off)

Pay: $20.00 to $30.00 (Pay will depend on Qualifications and Skill Level)

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and provide general support to visitors
  • Collate and Distribute Mail
  • Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronical and physical
  • Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures

Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency is MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Additional knowledge in software's such as HCSS HeavyJob and or Sage 100 Contractor is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Role Requirements

  • Valid drivers License
  • Must be able to pass a drug test in accordance with local law/regulations
  • High School Degree; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary would be a plus
  • Accounting background would be a plus
