Temp-to-hire / Aerospace / Composite Technician 

Shift: 1st (6am - 2:30pm Mon-Friday, OT available)
Pay Range: $20 - $24/Hour. Depending on Experience Level with composite materials.

Job Function: 

This client is the market leading suppliers of metallic and composite flight hardware and sub-assemblies for the space, missile, and hypersonic markets. This company offers an unprecedented capability set to customers, creating a supply chain solution in a historically fragmented supply base. They are looking for composite Technicians to join their team. 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized. 
  • Utilizing ISO 9001/AS9100 standards. 
  • Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding and hand layup of composites.
  • Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. 
  • Mix and measure resin and adhesive.
  • Adjust temperature controls of ovens. 
  • Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences. 
  • Maintain production or processing equipment. 
  • Use of upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time.
