Summary Description:
OmniSolve is seeking a Business Process Engineer to support a high-uptempo cross-functional Project Management team for business & system analysis. The resource should have experience working in a senior level environment, demonstrated experience managing complex IT / professional services projects with minimal oversight, and coordinating amongst multiple stakeholders. The resource should have experience working within an agile ITIL aligned Service Delivery organization.

Responsibilities include

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meticulously document business needs, create detailed scope documents, and ensure alignment with technical specifications. Set and manage client expectations, develop a detailed project plan, and understand project risks.

  • Manage project scope and timeline, from conception to implementation, including requirements elicitation, writing features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, developing epic roadmaps, gathering cost estimates, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and explaining the business goals and intent of features to technical and non-technical staff.

  • Brief, facilitate, or host meetings. Coordinate vendor sessions, lead demos of business features, and conduct product presentations and walkthroughs, ranging from internal teams to external partners and clients. Design, build, and maintain functional visualizations and dashboards.

  • Develop comprehensive product documentation, including requirement statements, logical data models, process designs, user interface mock-ups, and use cases. Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.

  • Generate reports, documentation, data entry, updates, create and maintain Google Sites, Google Suite products, and other required applications.

  • Support UX requirements activities to include identification and remediation of accessibility issues on public websites, recommend solutions to ensure optimal user experiences for all users; specifically as it relates to Section 508 and IDEA act compliance; and research Accessibility and User Experience to support collaboration.

  • Provides support to internal work processes to include but not limited to Software and Application Procurement Management, Application Portfolio Management, Document & Knowledge Management, and UX activities.

  • Performs other related work as needed.

The candidate must have experience in the following:

BS/BA in a related field

  • Experience facilitating meetings

  • Experience documenting and developing processes

  • Excellent technical writing skills

  • Excellent research skills

  • Prior experience creating presentations and briefings

  • Familiarity with UI/UX

  • Ability to conduct and analyze feasibility studies/impacts assessments, regarding implementation of solutions against current state parameters (process, application use-cases, and non-functional impact).

  • Proficiency and strength in verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills

  • The resource should have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with 508 and IDEA Act compliance

  • Previous experience with the Federal Government
