We are in search of a dedicated Concrete Foreman to oversee our client's concrete crew and ensure all construction projects, from start to finish, are completed efficiently and to the highest quality.

The Concrete Foreman responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities, ensuring equipment and procedures comply with safety regulations, and supervising and directing personnel.

Our ideal candidate is experienced in managing crews, knowledgeable about construction procedures, and proficient in using concrete construction equipment.

The role of the Concrete Foreman is to ensure the highest quality of concrete work that meets project specifications and exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a crew of workers at construction sites
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
  • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
  • Allocate general and daily responsibilities
  • Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
  • Resolve problems when they arise
  • Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a concrete foreman
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and report effectively
  • Aptitude in math
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.)
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) would be a huge plus
  • Decorative skills would also be a huge plus
