What Matters Most as a Junior Accountant:

· Competitive pay range of $25.00 an hour

· On-site position located in Clearwater, FL

· Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm schedule

 

Your New Role as a Junior Accountant:

· Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, credit card payments and preparing bank deposits.

· Make recommendations on how to collect from clients

· Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

· Maintain up-to-date billing system.

· Perform relative account reconciliations, credit and debits.

· Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries.

· Generate and review age analysis to ensure compliance.

· Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.

· Assist department with month-end closing.

· Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.

 

What you need as a Junior Accountant:

· HS Diploma/ GED, 2 – 5 years' experience with accounting

· Experience working with Accounts Receivables and general accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Computer literate; Microsoft Suite, Accounting software systems and other PC-based apps.

· Great Plains experience
