Arbor Dental is adding another outstanding team member to our already awesome dental assisting team. We love to have fun while taking great care of our patients. We have 3 kind and humorous general dentists that perform most procedures in our office and 5 fantastic hygienists. Our assisting team includes highly skilled EDDA's that take care of one another, treat each other with respect and they have great laughs
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment
- Prepare treatment rooms for various procedures; select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Complete assisting duties with emphasis on expanded skills
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
- Proven experience as expanded duties dental assistant (or train the right candidate)
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
- Good computer skills - Dentrix and Dexis
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
Schedule
- Monday 7 am - 4 pm
- Tuesday 9 am - 6 pm
- Wednesday 7 am - 4 pm
- Thursday 7 am - 3 pm
- 3 Day Weekend
