We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Information Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classified computing and a complete understanding of communications systems and their operations. Familiarity with the Department of Energy's policies and procedures surrounding classified computing is highly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Information Systems Technician will provide large and complex hardware, software, database, networking and telecommunications support to the Nuclear Emergency Support Team Standards and Training Program (NEST). This individual will review needs and incorporate requirements utilizing both off-the-shelf and internally developed hardware and software solutions. This individual will need to be a self-starter, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will have significant logistics management responsibilities, be responsible for day-to-day operations as well as be responsible for the readiness of multiple communications suites that provide classified computing.
