TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Designer with at least 2 years of experience for position in SE Houston area. Designer will be responsible for designing and developing product improvements and new products in line with company standards. Will work with customers to determine needs and solutions, procure materials needed for protypes, plan and develop test programs, and analyze/evaluate data to recommend improvements to designs. Must have working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD, metrology hand tools, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Experience in a manufacturing setting, knowledge of machining tools such as lathes, mills , presses, etc and familiarity with common metals, alloys and industrial polymers is needed.
