Position Overview:

As a QA Automation Engineer at LegalConnect, your role is to write automation script for repeatable test cases using automation tools, such as Selenium, Karate, and C# (.Net). You will design, test, and deploy effective automation solutions for LegalConnect’s software.

Skills Required:

·       Require programming skills to write automation scripts in languages, such as C# (.Net), Java, Javascript, etc.

·       Proficiency in writing basic SQL queries for data validation.

·       Effective use of Code Management tools, such as Git, GitHub, etc.

·       Proficiency in using Continuous Integration tools, such as Jenkins or Octopus.

·       Knowledge of using an IDE (Integrated Development Environment), such as Visual Studio or Eclipse.

·       Strong analytical skills of analyzing and debugging automation scriptures.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Write, design, and execute automated test scripts.

·       Maximize test coverage for critical features of the application.

·       Write documentation for automated procedures including test plans and test cases.

·       Participate in building test automation frameworks.

·       Log and document defects in the issue tracking system, such as Jira.

·       In addition to writing automated scripts, the engineer is required to do some exploratory testing in order to understand the application and properly debug defects.

Qualifications:

·       2-3 years of programming or automation experience is required.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is required.

·       Work experience with onshore/offshore models is a big plus.

·       Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.

·       Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.

·       Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

·       Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the teams.
