A Writing Room is a dynamic and growing community developed by and for writers at all skill levels. Our team creates educational content and hosts a yearly in-person conference, which is recorded and streamed live to our community members.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level Video Producer to join our team and grow with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in video production and a keen eye for detail. While some experience in a creative field is preferred, we provide training on our studio equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit high-quality video content
- Perform color correction of raw video footage
- Compile social media assets
- Record and edit audiobooks
- Assist with studio setup and takedown
- Work with speakers and authors to ensure they are comfortable and able to record high-quality content
Equipment and Software:
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Descript
- DaVinci Resolve
- BlackMagic Studio 4k Cameras
- BlackMagic Studio Switcher
- Universal Audio Apollo x8
Qualifications:
- Some experience in video production and/or editing
- Familiarity with the listed hardware and software (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
