Job Description: We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support our clinic operations and provide exceptional care to our patients. This role offers the opportunity to transition to a full-time position as the clinic grows. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be located near Magnolia, TX or be willing to move within a few miles of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures.
  • Record patient information, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and administering prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
  • Assist with medical procedures and provide post-treatment care instructions.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries.
    • Experience with Tebra Pro platform (formerly Kareo) preferred. Training will be provided, otherwise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
  • Provide patient education and support, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a weight loss or endocrinology practice.
  • Knowledge of semaglutide GLP-1 injections and weight loss treatments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to transition from part-time to full-time as patient demand increases.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Part-time hours initially, with the potential for full-time hours as the clinic patient volume expands.
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate clinic hours and patient needs.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits package available for full-time employees.
