Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Staff Accountant
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree with 3 years of experience in a comparable work-related field preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of computer software applications word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, QuickBooks Online. Verbal skills to convey complex information and procedures in a clear, professional manner. Strong writing skills to prepare reports, instructions and informational material used in the conduct of the Organization’s business. Intermediate accounting skills to perform functions for accounting and payroll. Reading skills to comprehend complex materials and the ability to interpret and communicate their meaning. Ability to multi-task, prioritizing among competing tasks, and to use critical thinking skills. Exhibit a high level of professionalism and ethics working amicably with the Owner, Supervisor, Office Staff, Drivers, & Entertainment Staff. Possession of a valid driver's license. Must meet the Company’s employment and physical standards.
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
COMPENSATION: Full-time / Salary Non-Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
- Confirms transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconciles Cash Accounts, Asset Accounts, and Liabilities.
- Processes accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
- Assists management and accountant in filing tax forms and preparing books for taxes.
- Receives visitors and directs visitors appropriately.
- Composes and types correspondence and reports.
- Creates and maintains files and records for the company.
- Assists in writing memorandums, policies, and procedures.
- Assists the executive office staff in communicating with the Logistics and Entertainment Team.
- Receives, distributes and files the mail for the executive office.
- Attends all meetings as required by Management.
- Maintains the office décor, neatness and cleanliness.
- Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Preforms advanced clerical work.
- Answer the telephone, route calls, and take messages.
- Establishes and maintains sound business and financial procedures in accordance with Federal and State laws, and internal company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The work area is well lighted, ventilated and heated. Occasionally work outdoors where there is a potential to be exposed to various weather conditions.

The work is mostly sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. Some walking, standing, bending, stooping and carrying of light items may be required. Must be able to lift twenty-five pounds without assistance.
