Shifts:

5:15 AM - 5:45 PM

Job Description: 

  • Assists with direct patient care, such as obtaining vital signs, wound care, collecting blood, urine sputum and stool specimens.
  • Performs routine procedures under established protocols to include phlebotomy, EKG's, intramuscular injections, etc.
  • Assists infirmary patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Aides the health care provider with procedures.
  • Accurately documents all data obtained, treatments, specimens collected and sent for processing as well as any other patient encounter.
  • Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining licensure.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Requirements/Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the specific State of Assignment
  • Must have current hands-on CPR certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
