Prominence Security is hiring for part time position in the UT/Downtown area of Austin Texas. This position is currently for 2100-0400 on Friday and Saturday. Mandatory experience requirements for this position are:
- Police Academy Graduate
- Current or former Correctional/Detention Officer
- Military veteran with 2 years of Armed Security Experience
- Current and Former Military Law Enforcement (MP, MA, AFSF, CID, MPI, ACI)
- Current or prior SRT/SWAT Medic
Candidates must have an active Level 3 License with the Department of Public Safety. Pay is $31 per hour, and will increase to $32 if the candidate supplies their own authorized firearm, ammunition, and holster.
Duties Include:
- Manning fixed entry points, greeting visitors of client establishment.
- Maintenance of Public Order
- Detention, Arrest, or Ejection of persons engaging in criminal or disruptive conduct.
- Completing electronic reports
- Rendering first aid within scope of training
