Title: QA Tester

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) 

Duration: 12+ months (Opportunity for conversion)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect management, status reporting, review and sign-off acquisition, and summary reporting.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum software development, QA, and software release processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and IT Delivery Leads to determine test scope and identify the necessary data/infrastructure for testing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise support to the Product team for testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting data.
  • Develop comprehensive test scenarios/scripts based on feature and user story documentation.
  • Coordinate UAT reviews and presentations with business owners, ensuring signoffs and approvals are obtained.
  • Effectively communicate testing processes and procedures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Interact with technical and non-technical individuals, including educating, persuading, and negotiating, while collaborating with systems and development staff to gather and interpret technical information.

Qualifications

  • Have experience with Rest API testing using tools like Postman, Mulesoft platforms, etc. (required)
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, (required)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Tester, taking ownership of test plans, scripts, and test execution. (required)
  • Display understanding of testing techniques and proficiency in agile methodologies.  (required)
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paying meticulous attention to detail. (required)
  • Exhibit excellent knowledge of SQL for analysis, reporting, and data corrections.  (required)
  • Previous exposure to testing tools and automated testing . (required)
  • Possess knowledge of the Payment, Banking and Financial domain (preferred but not required)
