Drafting Manager

You’ll be working on a variety of projects from conceptual design to construction, giving you the chance to showcase your creative abilities and technical aptitude.

· Create detailed architectural drawings and 3D models using software like Revit and AutoCAD

· Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to execute design concepts and solutions effectively.

· Coordinate with our operations teams to ensure the design vision is maintained throughout the manufacturing process

· Creatively lead our design teams to produce detailed drawings, plans, elevations, sections, shop and masonry drawings, as well as BOM.

· Produce deliverables for permits and state-certificates for sites throughout the US

· Apply National Building Codes

· Embrace team leadership

· Help institute industry-standard software and firm tools to accomplish established goals

· Support and guide less experienced drafting detailers

· Think outside of the box

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years Drafting manager experience
• Experience in an architectural firm helpful
• Bachelor degree in technical field

• Knowledge of National Building Codes
• Proficiency in design software, including Revit and AutoCad
• A innovator of design solutions
• Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills
