POSITION DESCRIPTIONSubcontractor shall provide support for National Nuclear Security Association (NNSA) Capital Projects (NCP) mission. The primary focus will be to provide DOORS Technology planning, programmatic and administration support for NCP. Subcontractor shall assume an administrator/programmer role with insight between the data and the tool and with a programming ability this person can effectively support Integrated Electronic Data Environment (IEDE) software coding and program development for NNSA Capital Projects.
  • Uploading of Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, etc.
  • Adjudicating corrections.
  • Establishing link relationships between engineering artifacts.
  • Programing software code for assigned modules.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Software / Computer Science Engineering or equivalent or have a minimum of two years of experience using DOORS, or similar experience with other requirements management software

​​MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fluent with JavaScript, VB, C+, and/or Python
  • Demonstrate a strong affinity for computers, software, and technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing and able to work seamlessly with engineers of various disciplines.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Developing DOORS RM Extensions
  • Basic understanding of Systems Engineering and requirements management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Duration of the Contract: ONE (1) YEAR WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE (1) YEARS OPTION PERIOD
• Option Periods are not guaranteed and are executed at the discretion of the Hiring Manager
• Yearly Options will automatically include a 3.5% escalation

Estimated Hours Per Year: 2080 Standard Hours/OT 500 Hours

Work Schedule:6a-430p Mon-Thurs--this schedule may change upon hire.

Onsite or Remote? Candidates can live anywhere in the Domestic US. 95% remote, 5% onsite.
