What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for PMT’s competitive intelligence efforts to collect, analyze, and assess competitor products and pricing
  • Responsible for PMT’s customer assessment work to clearly define customer needs, preferences, and buying habits to determine and monitor PMT’s value proposition
  • Responsible for PMT’s pricing strategy, short term and long term. This role will set and implement an effective pricing strategy to increase PMT’s market share and increase profits
  • Stay current with industry standards and trends
  • Conduct market research and obtain feedback from customers to improve RFQ conversion
  • Supervise cost estimating team to ensure accurate and timely quoting
  • Provide accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support
  • Work in conjunction with sales and customer service team to identify prospects, generate leads, and identify strategic deals and sales opportunities
  • Prepare and present bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines while using sound business judgment.
  • Design, implement and continuously improve sales strategies and processes that facilitate growth and gain market share
  • Other tasks as required
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or a related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with progressive responsibility
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication skills
  • Self-starter with great attention to detail
