Purpose:

Edible Brands is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Specialist to conduct comprehensive site evaluations, market redevelopment, and new store development. Opportunity to work on an existing and reputable 25-year-old brand, as well as two emerging brands.

Location: This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA Monday-Friday.

What that looks like day to day

  • Conducting full site analysis on each of Edibles' existing 850+ store locations.
  • Collecting stores historical data to complete site analysis.
  • Involved in the overall Franchise Development process, including working with Edible’s Sales, Construction, & Op’s teams
  • Supporting in the preparation of site packets for the Construction team
  • Assists with the development and implementation of market planning, lease negotiations, and lease execution in markets throughout the US & Canada, resulting in new store openings & relocations.
  • Interfaces with landlords, developers, real estate professionals, franchisees, and senior management to assist in executing real estate strategy by opening new stores and relocating stores as needed.
  • Assists with documentation and administrative tasks in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Engages brokers to help implement new store expansion strategy including managing broker relationships, bringing in new sites, drafting letters of intent, and creating brief summaries of deals.
  • Acts as a liaison between company and broker on issues regarding real estate.
  • Assists in identifies new markets and trade areas for strategic store placements by performing market analysis including evaluation of existing stores.
  • Work alongside Real Estate Manager, learning & assisting in general Real Estate duties.
  • Role includes supporting the existing Edible Brand, as well as new emerging brands

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years Commercial Real Estate experience. Commercial Real Estate Brokers and/ or Commercial Leasing Associate encouraged.
  • Retail experience highly preferred, alternatively office, industrial, or multi-family experience ok
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, with the ability to build decks for executive review and presentations
  • Proficiency in Excel and the ability to understand historical data.
  • Tech savvy and can multi-task within multiple programs and apps simultaneously
  • Experience owning complex projects from analysis through implementation.
