Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager Manager to deepen our customer, prospect, and buyer relationships and drive higher engagement and bookings through all touch points in the customer journey. In this role, you’ll be integral to our brand and growth strategy by creating data-driven campaigns built on Firmographic, account score, or engagement data captured in HubSpot to deliver the right message to the right contact at the right time.

The Demand Gen team serves as a dot-connecter across sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify, engage, and convert decision makers at our target B2B service provider accounts. This role will have a direct impact generating pipeline for our sales organization and helping the account management and new business teams ensure providers see success with Clutch.


As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you are an email marketing expert, and will be looked upon to blend strategy with execution, owning and implementing email programs and campaigns. You are well informed of email best practices, ensuring delivery rates remain exceptional, while delivering more emails than ever before.


This role is based out of our Washington, DC office. Clutch operates a hybrid working environment, and candidates must be able and willing to work 2-3 days per week out of the office (located in DuPont Circle).


Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the Clutch products, service provider customer base, and B2B buyer journey.
  • Develop and execute on a sophisticated email program utilizing HubSpot that drive provider and buyer trust, educate prospects and customers about Clutch, and set expectations around the customer journey.
  • Champion the customer, understanding how to best segment audiences, personalize outreach, and deliver relevant content to the right contact, at the ideal frequency, based on their behavior and needs.
  • Design a robust A/B testing and experimentation roadmap that uncovers key insights about our customer and prospect segments and turn those learning into meaningful KPI improvements
  • Measure, report, and optimize program and campaign performance while effectively and consistently communicating campaign plans, programs, and results with stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
  • Partner closely with sales, product, marketing, operations, and data teams to develop a coordinated strategy and campaign execution for both inbound and outbound lead generation.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of email marketing experience (B2B or B2C), and have
  • Demonstrated abilities in executing heavily segmented email programs that drove results.
  • Knowledgeable in email design best practices and can design/build/create emails independently.
  • HTML experience required; CSS preferred.
  • Experienced marketing writer using clear and concise copy for email efforts.
  • Proficient with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot is a plus) and familiar with marrying marketing campaign data with CRM pipeline metrics.
  • Excellent at building cross-functional relationships. You've worked closely with data, product, sales, content and operations partners and feel comfortable working across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and analytical prowess for copy and content creation.
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn about the customer journey in a two-sided marketplace and the stakeholders in the buying process preferred.
