You will incorporate techniques like Infrastructure as Code to ensure we repeatable deployment of resources.  You’ll provide expertise in the use of Cloud reference architectures and solutions to support software development in a DevOps environment.  You’ll have the opportunity to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and provide analysis for an approach to solutions.
 
You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with IT supporting enterprise businesses or government agencies
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS in Production Environments
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux operating system administration
  • Experience with designing, building and supporting production cloud architectures
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages, including Python, Go, or Node.js
  • Knowledge of configuration for security controls to one of the major cloud providers, including Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • BA or BS degree
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (FDA Public Trust)

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud native monitoring strategies utilizing AWS services, FOSS tools, or other enterprise tools
  • Experience with application, network, and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis
  • Experience with serverless technologies, including Lambda
  • Experience using and administering version control systems including Git, SVN and utilizing mature branching and source management techniques.
  • Knowledge of high availability and resiliency concepts for infrastructure, including failover, clustering, disaster recovery, blue-green deployment, and site reliability engineering
  • Knowledge of secure systems development practices, including principle of least privilege and secrets management
  • AWS or CISSP Certifications
