Join our team at the Smith Agency , a thriving insurance agency committed to excellence and driven by a passion for helping clients protect what matters most. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join us as a Sales Producer & Ownership Accelerator. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only excel in sales but also gain hands-on experience in agency operations, with the ultimate goal of progressing into agency ownership.

As an Agent Trainee, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by effectively promoting our insurance products and services to prospective clients. In addition to your day-to-day sales responsibilities, you will work closely with the agency owner to learn the ins and outs of running a successful agency. This role is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to eventually transition into your own agency.

Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Participate in a comprehensive training program to become proficient in insurance products, industry regulations, and our agency's systems and processes.
  • Client Interaction: Assist clients in selecting appropriate insurance policies by understanding their individual needs, providing quotes, and offering expert guidance.
  • Policy Management: Handle policy renewals, updates, and customer inquiries to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with experienced agents to learn effective sales techniques and strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must possess a valid insurance license (or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe).
