Job overview:

A large Manufacturing Plant is searching for a detail-oriented equipment/mechanical engineer to assist with machine installation and setups, support general equipment and tooling needs, and conduct regular trainings for machine operations and maintenance.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Oversee equipment integration and/or relocation.
  • Advise on tooling needs and address equipment malfunctions.
  • Conduct audits on equipment and maintenance schedules.


1. Equipment integration.


  • Help facilitate new equipment installations and relocations by communicating with cross-functional departments to ensure all preparation work is completed ahead of time.
  • Onboard new machinery by providing process SOPs and maintenance schedules, as well as operator training.
  • Document and maintain records for all equipment related processes.
  • Track significant downtime of machinery and do a root cause analysis to prevent future breakdowns.



2. Technical and tooling support


  • Provide technical support for issues related to equipment and/or tooling.
  • Develop long-term tooling solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assist with some general process support and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
