Job DescriptionThis role requires a seasoned FP&A Analyst to provide detailed financial insights and help drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have significant experience as an embedded business partner with success in understanding the key drivers of value creation across a diverse business.
DUTIES
- Preparing monthly analysis on key financial statement accounts (revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts).
- Manage and complete annual, quarterly and monthly cash flow and balance sheet forecasts, including analysis to prior forecasts and documentation of key change drivers.
- Lead all aspects of controllable expenses reporting including identifying key trends, summarizing themes for leadership teams, and providing ideas to save money and improve controllership.
- Support monthly close, analyze monthly results, provide variance explanations.
- Assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budget process.
- Ensure accuracy of monthly revenue and expenses.
- Participating on various finance led process improvement activities and other special projects.
- Collect and present financial information to senior executives relating to risks and opportunities for issues and improvements.
- Assist with finance due diligence activity, both vendor- and buy-side.
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a senior FP&A role.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
- Experienced, with demonstrated career progression, managing multiple types of systems with varying degrees of complexity.
- Experience working within a Shared Services Organization is a plus.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills. Must be hands-on and detail oriented.
- Strong modeling, forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Experience with financial due diligence processes is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is preferred.
- Adept to function well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills – ability to condense information and be concise.
