Job Title: Intake-Milk Receiving Operator

OVERVIEW:

As an Intake-Milk Receiving Operator, you will be responsible for operating and cleaning all intake-related equipment, carrying out tasks in accordance with all regulatory agencies (ISDA and USDA), and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete.

We are seeking someone who will contribute daily to the progress of plant start up and commissioning. The ideal candidate will assist in creation of documents and training procedures, participate in various tasks, and begin to build knowledge of the plant that will be critical to our successful startup and operation.

Ultimately, you will:

1. Complete antibiotics, component testing on milk and cream.
2. Unload incoming milk and load out cream.

1. Create BOLs and other documentation for outgoing loads.
2. Monitor Silo levels and silo hours.
3. Clean silos, lines and all Intake receiving equipment.
4. Learn not only the tasks required for the assigned job, but also understand the reason why each step is important in the whole production process of ESL and Aseptic products.
5. Oversee the dairy plant processes, following SOP’s and GMP’s, and ensuring documentation is accurately executed.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve minor and moderate bottlenecks and report efficiency opportunities and any food safety concerns to leadership.
7. Ensure all required safety practices are followed, including PPE usage, chemical handling, and OSHA standards. Responsible for reporting all safety concerns to leadership.
8. Provide proactive support and solutions.
9. Actively participate in RCAs, routine plant inspections, and customer audits.
10. Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts.

This role requires an experienced, energetic person with great interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, a safety mindset, experience in beverage, food, or other manufacturing environments, and the ability to consistently repeat procedures.

The successful candidate will:

• Be trained and State certified for testing.

• Possess a strong working knowledge of food and manufacturing safety protocols.
• Be experienced with dairy plant processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety, Responsiveness and Diligent Record Keeping

• Maintain high standards of safety in all aspects of daily plant operations.
• Immediately report and escalate any deviation from food safety and quality programs.
• Always maintain the work area in audit-ready condition.
• Follow processes and standards to keep producing quality dairy and plant-based beverages, maintain high performance, and generate accurate records.
• Maintain accurate and precise records of incoming raw milk, and outgoing cream for your shift.
• Inspect equipment and work areas for damage and report any issues found.

Training and Engagement

• Engage with all departments to troubleshoot and solve problems in real-time.
• Identify and work to resolve issues that inhibit department achievement of KPIs.
• Uphold high standards of conduct while providing support to the Suntado team and associated trades and vendors.
• Complying with safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Participate in cross functional teams focused on reducing downtime and improving performance, resolving quality concerns, and take advantage of situations where your expertise can add value.

Operator Responsibilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Completion of high school diploma or GED program.

• The ideal candidate will have experience / knowledge in food manufacturing plants.
• Prior experience in milk receiving is ideal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be decisive, and possess the ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills.
