Job Summary:
The Youth Direct Support Professional is responsible for the direct care and supervision of youth in varying age groups of up to 18 years old. In this position, you would be providing a safe environment while working on implementation of behavioral and permanency goals. Care and supervision may be provided in a variety of settings, foster homes, family homes, and the community.
Program: 045
Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Shifts Available:
Part Time: Must be available evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and two years related experience
- Have a clear criminal history and pass a background check
- Be at least 21 or older
- At least one year working with children outside your own home and family
Licensing and Certifications:
- Currently have or within 30 days of being hired CPR/First Aid license (Paid by SA)
- Current driver license, car, and car insurance.
- TB Test: Within 7 days of first day of employment, or prior to working on site (whichever comes first) (Paid by SA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
