We are seeking a Private Events Director for our private club located in Pittsford, NY. Our Club has 500 members, and generates $8M in annual gross revenue, $4M in F&B revenue, and 28K annual rounds of golf. Our upscale private club fosters a family-friendly atmosphere for both its members and employees and has casual a la carte dining settings, poolside dining, banquets, and events.


Our Private Events Director should deliver a blend of flair and functionality, capable of orchestrating private events that resonate with our club's esteemed reputation. Our Private Events Director will seamlessly plan, meticulously coordinate, and flawlessly execute each event.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead all facets of event planning from conception through to execution. This entails rigorous coordination of logistics, decor, catering, and schedules to ensure each event unfolds flawlessly.
  • Forge strong relationships with clients, understanding and bringing their vision to life within the elegant backdrop of our club. Your ability to empathize and execute their wishes is paramount.
  • Work closely with preferred vendors to maintain the clubs high standards. Your negotiation skills will ensure the club receives the best quality of service and products.
  • Showcase meticulous attention to detail, guaranteeing every element of the event is polished and up to the club's standards.
  • Guide a dedicated team with your expertise, ensuring that staff are well-prepared to deliver exceptional service that enhances the guest experience.
  • Actively seek and adeptly handle feedback to refine and elevate the private event offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in private event management, with a track record of delivering bespoke, high-caliber events.
  • Solid understanding of the golf industry and its cultural nuances, enhancing the tailored experience we provide.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with stellar communication abilities, allowing for effective negotiation and client satisfaction.
  • Robust organizational skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Resilience under pressure, maintaining poise and a focus on solutions amidst the dynamic nature of event planning.
  • A bachelors degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior exposure to the private club or luxury hospitality sector is highly advantageous.
