Job Description

At Appcast Senior Product Managers - Partnerships develops and manages strategic partnerships products in the recruitment marketing space. This critical role will focus on building platform products that allow Appcast to grow through partnerships with 3rd parties and support the scalability of Appcast’s overall platform.  

In addition you will work directly with engineering leaders on providing the product mindset and direction as we evolve our partnerships platform. Ideal candidates for this role have a strong technical product management background in developing APIs to support partnerships, a customer-centric mindset, strong technical and analytical acumen, and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from peer-level to C-level. They excel at problem-solving in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and are adept at leveraging data and insights to drive value through their products. 

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Create the vision and articulate the short and long term product strategy for Partnership product, ensuring alignment with the Product Roadmap for the larger Appcast organization 
  • Analyze and define API and experience requirements for internal and external engineering teams as part of solution requirements. 
  • Work with strategic partners to gain understanding of their portfolio, ecosystem, identify use cases and integration patterns for working with Appcast. 
  • Own features from conception to launch, working directly with our design and engineering teams to deliver impactful, differentiated, easy-to-use partner integrations. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of user-engagement, API engagement (no UI), and other product KPIs, extracting insights to inform the roadmap and to continuously improve performance of our integrations throughout our partner ecosystem. 
  • Gather and unearth business opportunities through research, data analysis, user experience analysis, competitive research, testing and experimentation 
  • Manages product features, influences customers, vendors, external partners, and engineering teams’ priorities 
  • Proficiently communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and written with Product, Design, Engineering and Business partners to ensure clear messaging of the Partnership Platform strategy and goals across the company 
  • Able to liaison between Product and non-technical/product partners to clearly explain complex product concepts in a simple language 
  • Sets clear, quantitative measures for product(s) and monitors process, progress, and results 
  • Delivering on rigorous, quantifiable business objectives in a matrixed, flat organization 
  • Invests in coaching and mentoring other PMs on the team 
  • Demonstrates strong writing and storytelling skills through product briefs, jira tickets, opportunity assessments, etc. 
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience launching products with clear, demonstrated results 
  • 3+ years experience in developing technical products 
  • A STEM undergraduate and/or master’s degree (preferred) 
  • A strong understanding of current product best-practice and opinions on where product is going next 
  • A strong track record of growing products you’ve worked on, both in terms of usage as well as user affinity 
  • A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across teams to prioritize and build products that delight customers and deliver on company goals 
  • A strong analytical orientation - a focus on data driven decision making and the ability to measure success 
  • A solid design and technical understanding such that you can engage with your counterparts in collaborative and productive manner  

Travel Requirements

  • Travel for this position may include quarterly travel to attend internal and external meetings, however, this may vary based on business needs and opportunities.
