These are the people who wake our residents up, help them get ready for their day, provide fun and meaningful program activities, assist in cooking and eating healthy meals, and tuck them in at night. Believe It: You can have almost any work schedule or work environment—you choose You can combine one job with another. You will be working in people’s home giving them the support they need to have a great day, every day. This could be a home for up to 6 adults or a person who lives in their own home. All the homes are in North San Diego County.

Unbelievable: If you work in a group home where other staff are there to assist, you will earn $18/hr (plus the same great benefits for full time).

Here are all your options: Morning shift; Late afternoon/early evening shift; Overnight shift (either awake overnight or asleep overnight); Weekend shift (usually a full 8 hours but we are flexible).

Flexible Scheduling Build a schedule that works for you

TERI participates in the CalGrows Program, offering you the opportunity to earn up to $6,000.00, in addition to your regular salary, while growing your career and developing your skills through free, online training courses.

TERI participates in the Direct Service Professional Training Stipend Program offering you the opportunity to earn up to $1,250.00, in addition to your regular salary, to help enhance your job skills after completing two free, 1-hour online courses.


Range: $18.00 - $19.00


We would love it if you:

  • Highschool diploma/ GED is desirable.
  • Related experience preferred but not required. We will pay you to train
  • Criminal background check required.
  • Acceptable Driving History.
  • Must have personal mode of transportation.
  • Entry level positions available.
  • Locations: Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, Fallbrook, and San Marcos.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B driver’s license (paid for by TERI)
