We are hiring a junior Power Platform Developer to work alongside out seasoned professionals within US Coast Guard (USCG) Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM) - our customer.

The successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to the requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of solutions. The primary objective is to optimize solutions that not only enhance operational capabilities but also modernize systems, ultimately improving efficiency within an enterprise environment.


You MUST HAVE a current and active government secret security clearance to be considered for this position.

Requirements:
  • Provide hands-on training to personnel on the use and management of Microsoft Power Platform products (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and associated SharePoint Online products.
  • Manage Microsoft SharePoint Lists, Teams Channels, and Outlook group distribution lists to maintain PowerApps applications and workflows.
  • Configure and design workflows with multiple integrations with Microsoft SharePoint list, Outlook, and HTTP requests.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff and Product Owners to ensure that Power Platform Solutions are integrated with existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide technical support to users of Power Platform Solutions, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and assistance with system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in Power Platform Solutions and make recommendations for enhancements or modifications to existing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a repository of templates and best practices for Power Platform Solutions development, to be used by other FORCECOM personnel.
  • Gather requirements and convert into solution or application features using agile delivery methodology.
  • Participate in project activities, meetings and working groups related to Power Platform Solutions development and implementation.
  • Work with vendors and contractors as needed to ensure that Power Platform Solutions are properly integrated and supported.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in Power Platform Solutions development and implementation.
  • Any additional deliverables or reports related to the management of the repository, such as inventory reports, usage metrics, or recommendations for repository improvements.
  • Maintain one (1) of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years design and development experience in Microsoft SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Dataverse)
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams and Office 365 for government.
  • Excellent communications (both written and spoken) including customer support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills are also required.
  • Active secret security clearance (must have).
