RSC2 is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing and reconciliation of invoices and payments. If you have a strong background in Accounts Receivable and are passionate about contributing to a well-organized finance department, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer contracts for billing procedures and funding
  • Perform daily tasks related to A/R, including invoicing, cash receipts, posting payments, cash reconciliation, credit memos, overpayments and reconciling client accounts
  • Invoice data entry in Quickbooks Online
  • Answer inquiries that relate to billing errors, short/over payments, aged invoices
  • Maintain accurate and precise records of all open A/R, including collection notes
  • Assist with collection efforts, including outreach to customers to inform them of aged A/R balances, as needed
  • Maintaining current invoice and cash records
  • Maintaining historical records
  • Provide updates regarding invoice status to Billing Manager
  • Set up billing/revenue schedule for Fixed Price contracts
  • Other duties as assigned by the Billing Supervisor or Manager

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelors preferred
  • One (2-3) years of office/accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
  • Knowledge of standard billing procedures
  • Familiarity with and the ability to read contracts and interpret billing instructions
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business internally and externally
  • Excellent attention to detail and reconciling skills
  • Confidentiality, integrity, and efficiency required
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
