We are seeking experienced Pipefitters for our construction site in Newport News, VA. Local candidates only as we do not offer Per Diem at this location. Industry-leading benefits include competitive wages, 401k with matching, profit sharing, health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for all employees.
Pipefitter Daily Life
- Erect, align, and install exposed and buried pipe systems of various materials.
- Work with project Superintendent to prioritize work.
- Use concepts, procedures, and practices common for pipefitters.
- Work safely.
Pipefitter Must Haves
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and welding symbols
- At least one (1) year experience as a pipefitter
Pipefitter Nice to Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of formal training or apprenticeship.
All candidates must pass a post-offer drug screening.
