- This position is part of the AFSCME bargaining unit. The minimum base hourly pay rate for this position must be ***.
- The CT Tech will perform a full range of basic diagnostic radiologic procedures and advanced level diagnostic procedures in Computed Tomography (CT). The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 20:30 to 07:00, alternating weekends, with every other Tuesday and Thursday off.
- Perform advanced diagnostic procedures in CT.
- Conduct venipuncture as required.
- Ensure accurate documentation and patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Interact with and provide care for adolescent and adult patient populations.
- Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
- Experience in a teaching hospital.
- Proficiency in venipuncture.
- Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography)
- CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
- Fluoroscopy license
- Experience with Siemens equipment.
- Experience with PET (Positron Emission Tomography) procedures.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- This position primarily serves adolescent and adult patients.
- Request for Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application and cannot be changed once submitted for review.
- No more than 7 days of RTO is preferred during the 13-week contract.
- No RTO is allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required, including current booster; no exemptions.
- Flu Vaccine: Status unknown.
