Job Description:
  • This position is part of the AFSCME bargaining unit. The minimum base hourly pay rate for this position must be ***.
  • The CT Tech will perform a full range of basic diagnostic radiologic procedures and advanced level diagnostic procedures in Computed Tomography (CT). The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from 20:30 to 07:00, alternating weekends, with every other Tuesday and Thursday off.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced diagnostic procedures in CT.
  • Conduct venipuncture as required.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient care.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Interact with and provide care for adolescent and adult patient populations.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
  • Experience in a teaching hospital.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture.
  • Required Certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography)
    • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
    • Fluoroscopy license
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Experience with Siemens equipment.
  • Experience with PET (Positron Emission Tomography) procedures.
Additional Information:
  • First-time travelers are welcome.
  • This position primarily serves adolescent and adult patients.
  • Request for Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application and cannot be changed once submitted for review.
  • No more than 7 days of RTO is preferred during the 13-week contract.
  • No RTO is allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
Facility Guidelines:
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required, including current booster; no exemptions.
  • Flu Vaccine: Status unknown.
