DVS is looking for an Data Security Analyst to support a large DoD team. The work location will be Fort Huachuca, AZ position and will support the RCC-C, which provides cutting-edge technology in an enterprise environment.
DESCRIPTION:- Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
- Demonstrated ability to develop IT security standards and procedures
- Develop and promote standard operating procedures to ensure the security posture of the environment
- Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies that relate to information security
- Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- HS + 4 years of similar experience, or AA/AS or BS/BA +0
- Security+ CE or equivalent IAT II certification required at time of hire
- CEH, CISA, GSNA within 60 days of hire
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim
- Ability to work shift work
- An ability to communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
- Work independently and within a team structure
- An ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
- Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
- Thorough knowledge information security and analysis
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
- Execute tasks independently and work as a team
- Learns and memories routine tasks
- Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
