DESCRIPTION

This team member gets to manage accounting processes and work closely with our Controller and VP of Operations to provide the necessary expertise, oversight, and support needed to grow the business. Will need to be a detail-oriented and a trustworthy Staff Accountant to join our team. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance in this role, as you will be dealing with sensitive income and personal information.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:


  • Month end closing duties.
  • Reconciliations: Inventory, Balance Sheet, & P&L
  • Revenue, Cost, GP, and Expense trending and analysis
  • Exception reporting
  • Analyze and record depreciable assets.
  • Accounts payable
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Handle confidential financial and personal information with the highest level of integrity and discretion.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to support financial operations.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year accredited degree in accounting is required
  • CPA is preferred but not required.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Embraces a multi-tasking work environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • A team player who can work independently on specific projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
