Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Director of Clinic Operations will oversee the following departments through Managers and Supervisors.

  • Contact Center
  • Facilities and Procurement
  • Clinic Operations, West Region
  • Clinic Operations, East Region
  • Outpatient Based Labs (OBL) Operations
  • Surgical Support and Coordination


Duties/Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership: Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for clinic operations across multiple locations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Staff Management: Leads and mentors clinic managers, administrative staff, and clinical teams. Fosters a positive work environment, acts as a strong culture ambassador, encourages professional development, and addresses performance issues. In collaboration with the People Team, establishes appropriate staffing levels that are in line with the Budget.

Financial Management: Responsible for department budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation for clinic operations. Works closely with finance department to ensure timely collection of co-pays and patient balances.

Quality and Compliance: Establishes and maintains quality standards for patient care, compliance, and safety. Implements best practices and drives continuous improvement activities for clinic operations.

Workflow Optimization: Streamlines clinic operations, appointment scheduling, patient flow, and administrative procedures for front and back-office functions. Develops and implements standard workflows and policies.

Patient Experience: Champions patient-centered care. Monitors patient feedback, addresses concerns and implements improvements to enhance overall experience.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizes data analytics to access clinic performance, track key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions.

Collaboration: Works closely with providers to optimize care delivery for patients.

Emergency Preparedness: Develops and implements emergency response protocols for clinics.

Community Engagement: Represents the organization at community events, builds relationships with local stakeholders and promotes clinic services.




Requirements:



Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

Associates or higher degree in business or healthcare related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience.

Multi-specialty care experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Traveling between clinics on a regular basis

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
