Anew Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced, forward-facing Intake Coordinator/Scheduler. Our schedulers are the face and voice of our company, so we are looking for someone with exceptional customer service experience.


Duties include being responsible for greeting clients on the phone or at our office, gathering accurate information and scheduling client services, welcoming all clients to their appointment, and representing our company’s goal of an exceptional client experience at every encounter. Insurance and benefit verification, and collection of copays and payments.


Customer service is KEY


Hours: This role is a full-time position Monday-Friday from 8:00a - 5:00p.

Work Responsibilities

  • General client access services, including:
  • Answer telephones
  • Schedule client services directly with client or from referral sources
  • Confirm client appointments
  • Greet and check-in clients, obtaining client documentation and paperwork
  • Schedule return appointments
  • And most importantly, communicate all the above electronically to each client’s providers in our integrated care model


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office preferred
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma, prefer an associate degree or work towards a degree or certification
  • Proven excellence in customer service
  • Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation
  • Experience with insurance verification is a plus
