Position Summary

The Marketing Campaign Specialist drives the end-to-end campaign cycle as a marketing project manager and develops deep subject matter expertise in assigned business and product lines. This position orchestrates well-executed marketing campaigns and programs with the support of a full-service marketing team, and expert marketing partners.

Essential Duties:

  • Collaborates with product owners and marketing leaders to build and execute campaigns to achieve acquisition, retention, and engagement targets.

  • Develops a strong rapport with product owners, and masters assigned business lines to become the marketing subject matter expert for that area of the credit union.

  • Project manages multiple campaigns simultaneously which includes coordinating campaign meetings, organizing campaign documentation, assigning creative development to internal resources and external partners, aggregating all deliverables, and obtaining feedback and approval from campaign stakeholders.

  • Develops creative briefs to align the team on the campaign strategy, objectives, target audience, and deliverables.

  • Develops impeccable marketing content. Includes curating and editing content from creative partners and teammates and drafting original messaging.

  • Maintain campaign calendars and workflows in Monday.com, partnering with the Marketing Manager to plan appropriate timelines and resources.

  • Prepares detailed list criteria based on campaign objectives. Partners with our marketing systems administrator and business intelligence teams to fulfill data requests.

  • Performs quality assurance on all campaign assets ensuring compliance with our brand standards, accuracy of content, and credit union marketing compliance.

  • Utilizes the marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, to build, schedule and deploy email marketing.

  • Coordinate with digital marketing and systems administrator to develop webpage content, landing pages, and social ads for credit union digital channels.

  • Coordinates with lobby specialist and multi-media specialists to ensure campaign assets (when applicable) are represented in physical locations.

  • Keeps a pulse on campaign performance and makes optimizations to content, audience, and other tactics to increase success of future flights.

  • Ideates on improvements to our marketing tactics and stays abreast of trends in marketing and financial services.

  • Contributes to the monthly marketing scorecard, tracking metrics related to direct mail marketing, email marketing, and digital campaigns.

  • Participates in assigned organizational projects to serve as a marketing liaison, recommend marketing tactical support, document marketing requirements and work with marketing management to distribute tasks.

  • Participates in cross-functional groups within the marketing department to execute special events and departmental projects.

  • Contributes to the achievement of the departmental and organizational business plan.

  • Serve as point of contact for vendors and CUSO partners to be their bridge to our internal team.

Education

Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.

Experience

2-5 years related experience with a minimum of 1 year responsible for coordinating campaigns for an in-house team or agency.

Skills & Abilities

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Experience working with marketing project management software (Monday.com, Basecamp, etc)

Experience with HubSpot marketing automation tool or similar MCIF/CRM systems.

Understanding of financial products and services preferred.
