AR/AP Specialist
Summary: Seeking a highly motivated AR/AP professional. This position will be responsible for proper invoicing, cash application, and collections, as well as AP invoice posting and vendor dispute resolution. This position will be a liaison for our business partners and management to assure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. This role will work cross functionally to resolve issues in billing, purchase orders, shipping, and receiving.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post cash from all sources including checks, ACH, credit cards, and wires.
- Collect on past due accounts
- Investigate and root cause customer deductions
- Investigate and root cause vendor invoice mismatches
- Account reconciliation and closing duties monthly
- Drive improvement cross functionally to support accuracy.
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Basic capabilities and experience in the use and application of PC tools, mainly Excel.
- Detail oriented problem solver.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
Comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures. - Effectively work with virtual team members cross-functional departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to relate to all levels of management.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree a Plus
- Experience in AR and AP
