Job Description:
We are inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Anaplan Developer As a Senior Consultant in the Connected Planning unit, you will lead multiple projects in a fast-paced team, delivering solutions in Anaplan for our Fortune 500 customers according to their requirements. Leveraging your formal education in the relevant field and professional experience, you will apply professional concepts to work on targeted problems and tasks, following standard practices and procedures to complete tasks/deliverables with high quality under limited supervision. Success in this role will be defined by your passion for conceptualizing, designing, and building models, your analytical and technical skills, and your ability to consistently deliver high-quality results while continuously improving your knowledge and skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Understand clients' business planning & performance management processes and related requirements.
  2. Develop Proof of Concept (POC) models efficiently to support pursuits and establish credibility of the Anaplan platform with customers.
  3. Design enterprise models, modules, lists/line items, and calculations in Anaplan to cover processes and requirements effectively.
  4. Translate design into development plans/timelines and manage project schedules through sprint cycles.
  5. Manage/support concurrent customer threads across pursuit and implementation streams, self-managing time across competing priorities.
  6. Guide and mentor team members throughout the implementation process.
  7. Demonstrate strong expertise and deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling.
  8. Utilize advanced Excel skills for spreadsheet modeling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.
  9. Translate customer spreadsheet models into efficient Anaplan designs, focusing on scalability and multi-dimensionality.
  10. Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and engage in successful engagement management.
  11. Provide subject matter expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Sales Performance Management, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  12. Understand data/integration, both inbound and outbound, with customer source systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), utilizing standard connectors like MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, and Anaplan APIs.
  13. Exhibit excellent communication and soft skills, with a successful track record of engagement management.
  14. Familiarity with Anaplan Agile methodology.
  15. Lead a team of 5-15 members and manage deliveries on time.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Anaplan solutions as a Solution Architect or Model Builder on three or more Anaplan projects.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing Anaplan solutions as a Model Builder on three or more projects.
  • Prior consulting/implementation experience with on-premise systems such as SAP BPC, IBM Cognos TM1, Oracle Hyperion, etc.
  • Experience delivering projects for large multinational companies in an analytical environment.
