Position Overview:

The Controller will develop, direct, and coordinate accounting and financial programs, policies, and procedures, cost accounting, monthly and annual closings, financial statements, and budgets. This position will recommend and implement improvements to the Company’s accounting and financial policies, procedures, and programs to reduce internal and external costs of the accounting function. They will participate and play an active role in the cost reduction effort, performance measurements benchmarking and product margin analysis. Oversee the MIS department. Participate in key decision making as a member of the Senior Management Team. This position reports to the President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works to develop and refine strategies to grow the business by looking for ways to drive profitability and improve overall performance.
  • Prepares P&L, Balance Sheet, and Capex flash and cash flow projections on a monthly basis.
  • Designs and spearheads financial projects, coordination of financial programs with MIS systems and Project Management.
  • Develops, implements, maintains programs and oversees the accurate and timely closing and generation of financial statements and audits.
  • Ensures completeness and accuracy of financial statements by preparing or reviewing account reconciliation for the ACE balance sheet using Blackline tool.
  • Delegates detailed accounting tasks to subordinates.
  • Oversees the continued development and general maintenance of all computing hardware and software.
  • Administers 401K Retirement Plans

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years progressive accounting experience in the areas of budgets, cost accounting, financial reporting, and cash management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to corporate office as required
  • Ability to make presentations at company meetings

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years experience as Controller in manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory experience
