Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Workforce Manager and ADP Workforce Now
  • Assist in processing weekly full cycle Union payroll for 700 plus union members
  • Process 32BJ Union benefits, dues, 401k, and American Dream fund payments through the ESS Union porthole.
  • Manage unemployment, Worker’s Compensation, New York Paid Family Leave, and disability claims.
  • Provide employment and employee loan verifications as needed.
  • Ensure readiness and preparedness for audits.

Skills and Qualifications

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college. Prior payroll experience in a fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.

Skills and/or Abilities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience with ADP enterprise (Workforce Now) and knowledge of Yardi Voyager. Willingness to participate in special projects and quickly get up to speed; strong comprehension skills are necessary. Willing to work late on occasion when necessary.

Communication Skills
Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Superb teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships. Advanced organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced business environment. Ability to coordinate multiple workflows and simultaneous deliverables.
