Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Consultant to join our Early Intervention Program. The Behavior Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing direct therapy, and supporting families and caregivers. This role requires a strong understanding of ABA principles and a commitment to improving the lives of children with autism.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized ABA treatment plans.
  • Provide direct ABA therapy to children with autism, utilizing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Monitor client progress through regular assessments and data collection, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct care staff in the implementation of ABA interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical guidelines, and best practices in the field of ABA.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in the field of ABA and autism treatment.


Qualifications:


  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is preferred.
  • Behavior Specialist License (BSL) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing ABA services to children with autism.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, early intervention strategies, and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for working with children with autism and their families.
