Hudson Regional Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Hudson County dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our community. We are seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our executive team and play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the CFO and senior management team.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the hospital's annual operating budget, ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
  • Manage the Finance Department, including revenue cycle, medical records, purchasing, accounting, accounts payable, payroll, patient access, and general stores.
  • Lead a team of talented finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to the CFO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, GAAP, and Medicare cost reporting.
  • Manage cash flow and debt financing activities to optimize financial performance.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Partner with other departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare finance.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Hospital/Healthcare finance leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and managing complex budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems (HIS) is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
