As Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for directing the teams that are the main point of contact for our potential candidates and are responsible to help them choose the most suitable and beneficial programs for them.

The sales team acts as a career coach and human resource counselor, providing candidates with expert advice on which career development opportunities they should seize in order to achieve their professional goals. The sales team is responsible for actively supplying the worldwide best luxury hotels and restaurants with dynamic talents to assist them in their operations.

As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will also mentor the marketing team and develop marketing strategies that will use the marketing budget in the most effective way possible. You will ensure that all marketing efforts align with the company’s sales objectives and that communication between the two departments is kept clear and transparent at all times.

As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will ensure that the sales and marketing departments are making use of the latest technologies and applications so that we stay a step ahead within the industry and so that internal processes are fully streamlined and simplified for all involved.

As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will be speaking to customers and assessing their wants and needs in order to provide the sales and marketing teams with key insights into improving their efforts.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales and/or Business Development & (Digital) Marketing or similar managerial positions
  • Passion for hospitality and being a Hospitalian at heart
  • Ability to recruit, train and inspire a team; knowing how to get the best out of every team member.
  • Proven Managerial and Leadership skills
  • Expertise with HubSpot or any similar CRM tool is required
  • Experience in marketing tools such as SEO and SEM, social media, PR, and email marketing preferred
  • Strong capacity to handle large workloads and busy seasons
  • Ability to Create and Analyze Data sets and produce dashboards
  • Sales-oriented profile, competitive and resilient character
  • Legal documentation to work and reside in Spain is absolutely required (assistance provided)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, good multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize
  • Knowledge in (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office, Analyzes A/B and Multi-variate tests, and communication results and provides recommendations.
  • Analyze sales and marketing data
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and marketing plans
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in English; Spanish is a valuable plus

Responsibilities:

  • 4 Main Desired Outcomes:
  1. Grow our overall sales 20% a year
  2. Build, hire and lead a strong sales team based in our main office in Barcelona - within the following 6 months.
  3. Train and lead our international sales teams to an aligned, unique, corporate process - within the following 6 months.
  4. Connect Marketing efforts with Sales efforts for our 3 different products/brands.

Some specific tasks include:

  • Represent the 3 main brands of The Placement International Group in a professional manner and promote our brands and values diligently
  • Develop strategies to maintain and grow partnerships with universities
  • Organize & assist in recruitment fairs and Virtual Recruitment Events
  • Host Virtual Events and presentations for all kinds of audiences
  • Analyze prospective markets and develop recruitment strategies
  • Tracking and analyzing sales numbers and ensuring payments are received on a weekly basis
  • Utilize HubSpot and CRM to track & process candidates and processes efficiently
  • Analyzing marketing campaigns, detecting deficiencies, and creating strategies to improve reach and performance
  • Read and interpret digital data to help businesses and marketing departments make better business decisions
  • Verify the creation of stunning and professional promotional material for our programs
  • Generate pertinent performance reports and develop strategies to seize opportunities and overcome challenges
  • Work hand in hand with the company's directors
