As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will harness your strategic and tactical expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms, including, but not limited to, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Your role will be pivotal in fueling our growth by drawing new users to our marketplace and converting them into loyal customers. In short, we want a Quant. A math genius. A statistical freak. A data savage. We can teach you how to create ads, but we want you to be able to show us how to maximize ROI and conversion through data, AI tools and building and analyzing complex models. We are building a global marketplace, this is a critical role and has opportunities for major growth as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop, Implement, and Optimize Digital Marketing Campaigns: Launch and manage digital marketing campaigns across various online ad platforms. Utilize advanced modeling techniques to predict campaign outcomes and optimize spend.
- Data Analysis and Performance Optimization: Monitor, track, and analyze campaign performance across large datasets. Make data-driven decisions to refine and enhance campaign strategies.
- Advanced Analytics and Reporting: Develop comprehensive analytics models to delve deeper into campaign data, identifying key trends and insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Keyword Research and Audience Targeting: Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to maximize campaign effectiveness and reach.
- Budget Management: Create and manage budgets for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximized ROI.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy and visual assets tailored to segmented audiences.
- Performance Tracking and KPI Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics. Provide actionable insights and detailed recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- Industry Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, search engine marketing, and paid media to continually refine strategies.
- A/B Testing and Experimental Design: Design and conduct A/B testing and other experiments to continuously enhance the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
- Remarketing Campaign Management: Manage and optimize remarketing strategies to re-engage past website visitors and convert them into customers.
- Strategic Digital Marketing Execution: Assist in the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Social Media Engagement: Craft and publish engaging content on social media platforms to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and foster community interaction.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Apply rigorous critical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex marketing challenges, optimizing campaigns to achieve maximum results.
Qualifications:

- Expertise in utilizing advanced analytical tools and software to manage and interpret large datasets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to overcome challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- You must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week, we can't win with a standard 9-5 mindset
- 5-7 years of experience in a related role at an advertising agency, media company or in-house role. Startup experience is a major bonus.
- Excellent data analysis skills, the ability to interpret data and create advanced statistical models connecting media investments to business results and outcomes
- Expertise in managing multi-channel ad campaigns, with a hands-on understanding of digital advertising platforms.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics and SEO practices, with experience in content strategy for driving website traffic.
- Creativity in developing engaging and effective social media content, with a track record of growing online communities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting compelling messages and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a passion for innovation and a commitment to achieving measurable success.
- Certification in Google Ads and/or other digital marketing certifications is a plus.
